Hayley woke up the next morning and heard voices downstairs. She got up and got dressed and went downstairs and saw Nick talking with Willa. She saw them kiss and they began to make out. She went back upstairs and laid on the bed and cried. She heard footsteps coming up the stairs and she heard the front door open and close. She faced the window and heard him come into the room and he sat on the bed.

        “Hey baby, you okay?” Nick asked.

        “I will be when you get your stuff and get out,” Hayley said. Nick looked at her.

        “What are you talking about?” Nick asked.

        “I saw you making out with Willa downstairs, and don’t tell me I was seeing things because I wasn’t, I saw it, are you having an affair,” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, no, I’m not,” Nick said. Hayley sat up and looked at him angrily.

        “Don’t lie to me, Nickolas, did you have an affair!” Hayley yelled.

        “Yes, but it didn’t mean anything, I love you and our kids,” Nick said. Hayley got up and walked around the room.

        “You ask me if I had an affair when you had one! You were unfaithful, I can’t be with you now, I was completely faithful to you, but you weren’t to me, get the hell out!” Hayley yelled angrily.

        “Hayley, I need to be here for the kids,” Nick said.

        “You can see them when you want but I want you out, this is my house, too, since we are married, get out!” Hayley yelled.

        “Hayley, you are being unreasonable,” Nick said trying to hug her. She backed from him.

        “Don’t you dare touch me, you get out now, you bastard!” Hayley said angrily. Nick shook his head.

        “If I go, the kids are going with me,” Nick said.

        “Over my dead body, the kids are staying here, you can see them when you want to!” Hayley said.

        “They are my kids, too!” Nick said.

        “Are you deaf, I said you can see them when you want to!” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, come on, you are being stubborn!” Nick said.

        “I’m being stubborn, huh, I’m not the one who had the affair, I am not the one making out in the living room with another girl!” Hayley said.

        “Hayley, the kids need me, I need to be here!” Nick said.

        “Get the hell out, I mean it,” Hayley said angrily. Kevin came in with Kristin behind him.

        “What is going on here!” Kevin said.

        “I saw him kissing Willa in the front room, well, making out with her, and he admitted he had an affair, now he won’t leave!” Hayley said angrily.

        “Nick, maybe you should leave, I think she needs to be alone for awhile, you can come stay with us,” Kevin said.

        “The kids,” Nick said.

        “The kids will be fine, I’m sure Hayley will let you see them when you want to,” Kevin said.

        “Nick, come on, I’ll help you pack,” Kristin said.

        “I’m not leaving!” Nick said.’

        “Yes you are, I can’t stand the sight of you right now!” Hayley said. She went to the nursery and closed the door and locked it.

Chapter 21

Nick got out a bag and started packing. He looked at Kevin and Kristin and he sat down.

        “Why am I a screw up,” Nick said.

        “Nick, you had the perfect life and family, and you had an affair, why, man, Hayley never did anything to you, besides Brian trying to seduce her but she never once gave into him, she would have told Kris,” Kevin said.

        “I can’t believe this, I love her so much, and it’s over,” Nick said.

        “Nick, why did you have the affair?” Kevin asked.

        “I don’t know, I was stupid,” Nick said.

        “Yeah, it cost you your family,” Kristin said.

The next day, Hayley was sitting there watching TV when the doorbell rang. She got up and opened the door and saw Brian. He came in and closed the door.

        “What do you want,” Hayley said.

        “I heard what happened,” Brian said.

        “I figured it would get to you, but it doesn’t mean you can have me,” Hayley said.

        “Why not, you are free now, we can be together,” Brian said. Hayley looked at him.

        “No, Brian,” Hayley said. Brian pulled her close to him.

        “Yes, Hayley, we can, you and Nick are over from what I heard and you don’t have to remain faithful to him,” Brian said. He kissed her deeply. She pushed him away.

        “Brian, stop, I’m not going to be with you so give it up!” Hayley said. He pulled her close again.

        “You want me, Hayley, I know you do, you always have, we almost made love in the game room, if Nick hadn’t knocked on the door, we would have slept together, I know you want it, Hayley,” Brian said kissing her neck.

        “Brian, please, don’t,” Hayley said. He kissed her tenderly and she weakened against him and the kiss deepened. He picked her up and carried her up to the bedroom and laid her on the bed and their clothes flew off and they had hot passionate sex. The next day, Hayley sat in the nursery looking at Nicky and Alicia. She was thinking of the day before when Brian was over. She couldn’t believe she gave into him and she swore that she would never give into him again. She heard footsteps and Nick came into the room and saw her sitting there. He sat down and played with Nicky and Alicia. Hayley sat there watching them and she realized the only way to keep Brian away is to be with Nick again. She knew what she had to do.

Chapter 22

Hayley pulled the covers and sheets off the bed and went down to the laundry room and started washing the covers and sheets. She turned and saw Nick standing there.

        “We have to talk,” Nick said.

        “What about?” Hayley asked.

        “Brian, I heard about last night, you two had wild sex on what was OUR bed,” Nick said.

        “I didn’t want it to happen, besides, you had an affair, why couldn’t I have something to,” Hayley said.

        “Did it have to be my best friend?” Nick asked.

        “I don’t want him anymore, he heard about us splitting and he was over here like he had a clear shot, he seduced me, I just want him to stay away,” Hayley said.

        “Oh he will, he is back with Leighanne, he is totally over you,” Nick said.

        “Really?” Hayley asked.

        “Yeah,’ Nick said. Hayley shrugged and walked out and felt dizzy. She stopped and held her head.

        “Hayley, you okay,” Nick said.

        “I’m fine, just dizzy,” Hayley said. She took a step and blacked out. Nick caught her and picked her up and laid her on the couch. He went and got a cold washcloth and put it on her forehead. Hayley woke up and saw him.

        “You fainted,” Nick said.

        “I must have moved too fast or something,” Hayley said.

        “Are you feeling okay?” Nick asked.

        “Yeah, I think so, I feel like I did when I found out I was pregnant with Nicky and Alicia,” Hayley said. Nick smiled. Hayley looked at him.

        “Maybe you are pregnant again,” Nick said.

        “I better find out,” Hayley said.

        “Let’s go,” Nick said.

        “Wait, the kids,” Hayley said. AJ came in with Howie.

        “Hey you two,” AJ said.

        “Can you two stay with Nicky and Alicia, I need to take Hayley to the doctor,” Nick said.

        “Sure,” Howie said. Nick and Hayley went to the doctor and the doctor ran some tests and left the room. 

Chapter 23

(Okay, I know that some of you know that I sometimes have dreams, well, I'm going to do it again because instead of starting a new story or erasing everything I have written so far, I do the dreams to restart in the middle of the story to keep it going different ways to make it more interesting. It's back to Chapter 2!)

Hayley and Nick arrived at Nick's house and put their stuff down. Hayley looked around the house.

"Nice house," Hayley said.

"Thanks, it's your house, too, now," Nick said.

"Are you sure about all this, Nick," Hayley said.

"Yes, I'm sure, Hayley, we are married, we might as well make it work since we can't divorce or get an annulment," Nick said.

"Nick, believe me, I didn't have anything to do with it, I wasn't even ready for marriage," Hayley said. Nick sat her down.

"I believe you, Hayley, it takes more than one person to have a marriage license," Nick said. There was a knock at the door. Nick got up and opened the door and saw a man standing there. He handed Nick an envelope and left. Nick closed the door and opened the envelope and saw pictures of him and Hayley at a wedding chapel. He sat down and showed Hayley the pictures.

"We did it, somehow," Hayley said.

"Do you drink?" Nick asked.

"I did once, I woke up in a hotel room, I was down here on vacation with my parents," Hayley said. Nick looked at the pictures.

"We were both drunk," Nick said.

"We got married when we were drunk," Hayley said.

"Yeah," Nick said.

"Let's see if it is true," Hayley said.

"Pictures say it all," Nick said.

"Let's go to the chapel," Hayley said.

They went to the wedding chapel and talked to the minister.

"Yes, you two got married here, you asked me to mail you the marriage license because you were afraid that it would get lost," he said to Hayley.

"Were we drunk?" Hayley asked.

"Yes, I smelled the alcohol on you both, that is probably why you don't remember the wedding, my wife was the witness," the minister said.

"What about the writting where it says that we can't divorce or get an annulment," Hayley said.

"You asked for the forever marriage so that clause goes on the marriage license," the minister said showing them the packages. (I don't know if there is wedding chapels in Florida like the ones in Las Vegas but hey, it's FICTION).

"Thank you for the information," Nick said. They left and went back to Nick's house.

"We got married while we were both drunk," Hayley said.

"Yeah, so it's real," Nick said.

"I wonder if we actually slept together," Hayley said.

"I woke up and had a headache and saw you next to me, I was naked," Nick said.

"I woke up naked, too," Hayley said.

"We slept together, oh boy," Nick said.

"So it's possible I could become pregnant, and I had my first time," Hayley said. The guys came over and they told them the whole story.

Chapter 24

Brian and Nick went out back and sat down. Nick looked at Brian.

        “What’s up,” Nick said.

        “Are you sure about this?” Brian asked.

        “Brian, you know the dreams I have been having, with that girl, it’s Hayley, man,” Nick said.

        “Are you sure?” Brian asked.

        “I described her, didn’t I, do you think it’s Hayley,” Nick said.

        “The way you described her, yeah, it is,” Brian said.

        “And she might become pregnant, it’s been two months, I haven’t seen symptoms yet,” Nick said.

        “Nick, it happened, she passed out and then when she woke up and had to throw up, she is sitting in the bathroom right now,” AJ said. Nick went in and went to the bathroom and saw Hayley sitting against the tub. He sat down beside her.

        “You okay?” Nick asked.

        “I feel terrible, I think I need to see a doctor,” Hayley said. He helped her up and took her to the doctor. They sat there waiting for the test results. Hayley looked at Nick. The doctor came back.

        “You are pregnant, Mrs. Carter,” the doctor said. After getting all the information, they went home and saw everyone still there.

        “So, what’s the news?” Brian asked.

        “Hayley and I are having a baby,” Nick said.

        “Congratulations,” Brian said. The guys hugged them. They all sat down and talked for a little while and then the guys left.

That night, Hayley laid in the bed while Nick was in the shower. He came out in his boxers and saw Hayley laying there. She was looking out the window. He sat down on the bed.

        “You okay,” Nick said.

        “Yeah, just thinking, about my family,” Hayley said.

        “Do you want to call them and tell them about the baby?” Nick asked. Hayley shook her head.

        “They disowned me, they don’t want to hear from me,” Hayley said.

        “Okay,” Nick said. He turned off the lights and got into bed. Hayley closed her eyes and went to sleep. Nick laid there staring at the ceiling. He closed his eyes and went to sleep.
